Our Story
Cruise Time Booker grew from a lifetime of real adventures. We have traveled together since 1988—from road trips across the country to cruises, islands, and unforgettable ports. Ron has been sailing since 1993, and together we have experienced many ships, cabins, cruise lines, destinations, and plenty of lessons learned along the way.
Those experiences help us understand that the right vacation is different for every traveler. The biggest ship is not automatically the best ship. The lowest price is not always the best value. The goal is to find the cruise, cabin, itinerary, and travel details that fit you.
That is the heart of Cruise Time Booker: listen carefully, explain the choices clearly, plan thoroughly, and take care of people from beginning to end.
A Shared Journey Through Surgery, Cancer, and Healing
Before Ron’s cancer diagnosis, Michelle had already endured two hip replacements and a hysterectomy. Then, in August 2019, Ron learned that he had cancer.
After chemotherapy and additional treatment, Ron was told in December 2019 that without an esophagectomy, he might have only one year to live. He chose the major surgery—and together, Ron and Michelle faced another difficult recovery.
When COVID-19 changed the world, South Carolina’s state parks became part of their therapy and healing. Time outdoors, volunteering, exploring new places, and photographing their adventures helped them rebuild their strength and look toward the future.
During this time of healing, Ron and Michelle took more than 200 adventure trips—discovering parks, coastlines, historic places, wildlife, roadside surprises, and countless stories along the way.
Those years changed how they see time. They do not share their story to frighten or pressure anyone. They share it because “someday” is never promised, and the memories we keep postponing deserve a place on the calendar.
